Continuing the seventh Beatitude—“Blessed are the peacemakers”—Tim Miller examines how our words can either destroy peace or help restore it. Drawing from James, Proverbs, and other passages, this sermon addresses the damage caused by gossip, quarrels, careless speech, anger, excessive talking, cowardly silence, deceit, and flattery. Believers are instead called to speak with wisdom, patience, gentleness, sincerity, and grace—including offering loving correction when necessary. When our tongues are surrendered to God as instruments of righteousness, our words can bring healing, promote peace, and produce a harvest of righteousness.
