GGC FAST FACTS
- Grace Gospel Church (GGC) was founded in 2007 by Tom and Cindy Porta. The church moved to its current location in 2021.
- Guided by Jesus’ words in Matthew 28:18-20, our vision at GGC is “to be and to make disciples of Jesus who follow him faithfully by the power of the Holy Spirit until he returns, to the glory of God.”
- Other statements you will commonly hear in connection with this vision are “one day closer” (i.e., to the day when Jesus will return and make all the wrong things right), and various statements that incorporate the triad of “faith, love, and hope.”
- GGC is a non-denominational, multi-generational, charismatic-evangelical church. We acknowledge the entire Bible as the fully authoritative, trustworthy, and inerrant Word of God, and by God’s grace we seek to practice the gifts of the Spirit in a humble and biblically responsible way (1 Cor. 12-14).
- GGC places a high value on family and children. As you will see if you visit, our congregation has been richly blessed in this area. Our children’s ministry is careful to ensure the safety of our children during services.
- On the first Sunday of each month, we have a special service called “First Things,” during which we take communion together, recite the Lord’s Prayer and the Apostles’ Creed together, set aside extra time to pray over and minister to one another, and have lunch together after the service (which we call a “Potblessing”).

- Our physical address is 37126 MN-65, Stanchfield, MN 55080. We are just north of Grandy on Hwy 65, across from East Central Diesel, with three large crosses near the road.
